Zephyr.
Installation that consisted of an indoor as well as outdoor component to the installation. The wooden panels in the indoor component connect to small monofilament lines that run through the gallery to outdoor sails. These would catch the wind and cause the piece in the gallery to move as if it was blowing in the breeze.

Life-Like Object VII.
Tension piece containing 32 separate elements held together solely with tension. Abstracted from a mammilian spinal column, this self corrects itself when pushed over resisting falling over.

on the death of things.
A structural system composed of wood, heat shrink tubing, fishing line, screws, hardware, lights, elastic, motors, and green cocktail umbrellas. Through these objects, the form created resembles that of a common household topiary hedge. By using various systems and tension I was able to sync the movement (opening and closing) of the cocktail umbrellas to create a “breathing” motion.

Popsicle Jellyfish.
Wooden structure utilizing popsicles as the kinetic control element. As the popsicles melt the shape of the sculpture would alter. The moving duration of the piece is approximately 1 hr.

I Would Have Planted Orchids.
Wood structure that contained a motor and a digital timer. Over the course of a 1 month exhibit the piece would "blossom" and also destroy itself. A water element would need to be periodically replaced or "watered." Failure to water the sculpture would cause it to destroy itself faster. Small monofilament wires connect to tops of cylinders and then to the ceiling and then to the wood structure. Motor and timer are in white base.

The James Royal Palm Interactive Table
Commissioned by Lauren Rottet, of Rottet Studio, for the James Royal Palm Miami Beach. The interactive walnut table is 16ft x 3ft and features an inlayed street map of Miami Beach using Makoré, Maple, and Walnut.  Beneath the inlay are hidden magnets which act as power switches to 1 of the 20 wood and mirror 'infinity boxes'. Users can either find the hidden spots on the table or stack the cubes to illuminate and revel the miniature bridge sculptures inside. Through the use of 2-way mirrors, each boxed bridge appears to go on forever.

Singularity Transmissions
A 40 ft, sculptural interactive tower designed to simultaneously converge the voices of up to 15 individuals into one unified transmission through the use of tin-can phones, each suspended in the 15 pods surrounding the tower. The crude analog phone transmission was recorded digitally at the towers soundboard apex in real-time and output into a womb-like listening chamber at the towers base.
